Christmas is just around the corner, and for this holiday, Through Waves has prepared yet another glimpse of what is soon to follow in 2010. However, this affair is far from anything holiday-like. This December, the Harbour is set to release the most irregular and spontaneous of its upcoming secrets.

Between the gap of the latest EP “Dragonfly Upon an Eyelash” and the upcoming full-length album “Sail, Schooner”, Through Waves is harboring a new non-album single, but not as a traditional 4-tracks release, but a one-track digital download of a very lengthy song: Sagitta.

The piece, that didn’t find a home to be nestled in any particular release, was conceived in one take in July, between the final recordings of “Sail, Schooner”. Already displaying a very needed improve on the spheres of recording quality and mastering, it surely gives a taste of what the debut album will be all about, but at the same time, keeps its own atmosphere, showing a different yearning from what Raine Holtz has been slowly unveiling; this is, by far, the most intimate of all Through Waves’ songs, and the first and only one-track single to ever be released from The Schooner Harbour.
Since this month seem to conjure a delightful “giving and sharing” feeling through our hearts (probably to warm the cold of the north world, or just a natural response to the south’s end-of-year summer…), The Schooner Harbour will make “Sagitta” available for a first-hand FREE streaming over the Official Ubetoo account for a week only: from 8th to 12th of December! Head over there a week prior to listen to this special gift while wait to have it for yourself in a high quality format!
